Everything Was Decided in Movement Productions are a documentary-focused production company based in Edinburgh. Founded in 2021 by Rohan Berry Crickmar, EWDIMProductions is a production company committed to working on innovative documentary projects, with filmmakers who have a strong authorial voice and vision.

The company ethos is neatly encapsulated in our title, as for us the very essence of film is that it is about capturing thought and feeling through movement and moving an audience. Therefore we want to work with creative people who are committed to telling interesting and involving stories in ways that make audiences care about what they are watching.

Currently we have a small slate of three feature documentaries (Lost for Words - Dir: Hannah Papacek Harper, Our Imagined Islands - Dir: Ana Grgic, Mnemonic Muse - Dir: Tasos Giapoutzis) in various stages of development, pre-production and production. We have participated in the SDI / Screen Scotland supported development initiative Bridging the Gap and premiered our first short documentary production, The Tomorrow That’ll Come (Dir: Carla Shah) at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2022.

We are keen to discuss new collaborations with any filmmakers who share our own ideals for documentary film.
